प्रगामी तरंग क्या है
प्रगामी तरंग नलिका (traveling-wave tube (TWT)) एक विशिष्ट निर्वात नलिका होती है जिसका उपयोग माइक्रोवेव परास वाले रेडियो आवृत्ति के संकेतों को प्रवर्धित करने के लिये किया जाता है। इस नलिका में चल रहे इलेक्ट्रानों के पुंज से ऊर्जा अवशोशिष कर रेडियो संकेत प्रवर्धित होता है।
प्रगामी तरंग नलिका कैइ तरह की होती हैं, जिनमें से दो प्रमुख हैं-
- (1) हेलिक्स टी डब्ल्यू टी (Helix TWT)
- (2) युग्मित कैविटी टी डब्ल्यू टी (Coupled cavity TWT)
