- वर्ष, 1991 में राष्ट्रपति डॉ. आर. वेंकटरमण द्वारा संसद सदस्यों के वेतन, भत्तों और पेंशन (संशोधन) विधेयक पर इस वीटो का प्रयोग किया था।
- इस वीटो के द्वारा राष्ट्रपति संसद द्वारा पारित विधेयक को अनुमति देने से इनकार कर सकता है।
- धन विधेयक के संबंध में इस वीटो का प्रयोग नहीं कर सकते।
- विशेषित वीटोः भारत के राष्ट्रपति के संदर्भ में यह वीटो महत्त्वहीन है। अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति द्वारा इस वीटो का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
