वैधानिक तरलता अनुपात (SLR) SLR का मतलब सांविधिक तरलता अनुपात है । वाणिज्यिक बैंकों को नकदी, सोने और सरकारी प्रतिभूतियों में निवेश के रूप में अपने दिन-प्रतिदिन के कारोबार के अंत में रिजर्व बैंक के पास एक निश्चित राशि रखने की आवश्यकता होती है । इस राशि का उपयोग किसी भी आपातकालीन दायित्व को पूरा करने के लिए किया जा सकता है । अब जिस दर पर बैंक इस पैसे को सरकार के पास रखते हैं उसे SLR कहते हैं। इसके तहत सोना अपनी कुल देनदारियों के अनुपात में आरबीआई के पास रखना होता है ।
