प्रतिचक्रवात किसे कहते है
प्रति-चक्रवात (anticyclone) की प्रकृति तथा विशेषताएं चक्रवात से पूर्णतः विपरीत होती हैं। इसके केन्द्र में उच्च वायुदाब का क्षेत्र होता है जबकि परिधि की ओर निम्न वायुदाब पाया जाता है| इसके कारण हवाएं केन्द्र से परिधि की ओर प्रवाहित होती हैं। इनमें दाब प्रवणता कम (10-15 मिलीबार) ही होती है।
