हिंदी साहित्य में भक्ति काल अपना एक अहम और महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है। आदिकाल के बाद आये इस युग को पूर्व मध्यकाल भी कहा जाता है। जिसकी समयावधि 1375 ईo से 1700 ईo तक की मानी जाती है। यह हिंदी साहित्य का श्रेष्ठ युग है।

भक्तिकाल में कृष्णभक्ति शाखा के अंतर्गत आने वाले प्रमुख कवि हैं - कबीरदास, संत शिरोमणि रविदास,तुलसीदास, सूरदास, नंददास, कृष्णदास, परमानंद दास, कुंभनदास, चतुर्भुजदास, छीतस्वामी, गोविन्दस्वामी, हितहरिवंश, गदाधर भट्ट, मीराबाई, स्वामी हरिदास, सूरदास-मदनमोहन, श्रीभट्ट, व्यास जी, रसखान, ध्रुवदासतथा चैतन्य महाप्रभु।
