नदियो के जल की मात्रा समुन्द्र के जल की अपेक्षा काफी कम है उस पर चाँद के गुरुत्व बल का प्रभाव नही पड़ता
नदियों में पानी की मात्रा समुद्र के पानी की तुलना में बहुत कम है, यह चंद्रमा के गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल से प्रभावित नहीं होता है ।
