वैज्ञानिक व औद्योगिक अनुसन्धान परिषद् (CSIR) के बारें में : यह हमारे देश की अग्रणी स्वायत्त अनुसन्धान व विकास संगठन है। इसकी स्थापना 1942 में की गयी थी। आपको बता दे की यह रजिस्ट्रेशन ऑफ़ सोसाइटीज एक्ट, 1960 के तहत पंजीकृत एक स्वायत्त संस्था है।
ध्यान रहे की भारत के प्रधानमंत्री ही सीएसआईआर के अध्यक्ष होते हैं। यह देश में 38 राष्ट्रीय अनुसन्धान प्रयोगशालाओं का संचालन करती है तथा इसका मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में स्थित है।
