उत्तरी ध्रुव से दक्षिणी ध्रुव को मिलाने वाली 360 रेखाओं को देशांतर रेखाएं कहा (deshantar kise kahate hain) जाता है। यह ग्लोयब पर उत्तर से दक्षिण की ओर खींची जाने वाली काल्प निक रेखा है।

  • विषुवत रेखा पर दो देशांतर रेखाओं (deshantar rekha kitni hai) के बीच की दूरी सर्वाधिक 111.32 किलोमीटर होती है और ध्रुवों पर ये आपस में मिल जाती हैं।
  • ये रेखाएं समानान्तर नहीं होती हैं।
