Reply: कोरोमंडल तट पर वृष्टि (छाया) पड़ने के कारण जून जुलाई में मानसून ऊपर से गुजर जाता है और चार महिने बाद जब निम्न बायुदाब बनने से लौटते मानसून द्वारा बंगाल की खाड़ी से पुनः जल उठा लिया जाता है और क्योंकि अब अरब शाखा की बजाय बंगाल शाखा से बादल लौट रहे हैं अतः कोरोमंडल तट पर बारिश कर जाते हैं । भारत के मानचित्र और मानसूनी हवाओं के रूख से इसे और आसानी से समझा जा सकता है ।
