आयनिक यौगिक (Ionic compound) : वे रासायनिक यौगिक जिनमें आयन आयनिक आबन्धों के द्वारा जुड़कर एक जालक संरचना का निर्माण करते हैं, आयनिक यौगिक कहलाते हैं।

  • आयनिक यौगिक ठोस , कठोर तथा भंगुर होते है।
  • उनके क्वथनांक तथा गलनांक उच्च होते है।
  • वे विलयन की अवस्था में तथा गलित अवस्था में विद्युत के सुचालक होते है।
