लाभदायक कीट
इंडोगोप भृंग, नीडोग्राहापर, श्रृंगी भृंग, बड़ी आर्मिका बग, किशोरी मक्खी, मिलिड बग, मकड़ी, इपीपाइरेक्स आदि मित्र कीट हैं। इसके अलावा ट्राइकोग्रामा कार्ड पर भी मित्र कीट के अंडे होते हैं। इस कार्ड को कैंची से काटकर खेत में अलग अलग स्थानों पर लकड़ी में लगा दिया जाता है। इसे सूंडी वाले कीटों के अंडे नष्ट करने के लिए कार्ड के रूप में किया जाता है। इस कार्ड का उत्पादन एकीकृत नाशी जीव प्रबंधन प्रयोगशाला (बिल्वा) बरेली में किया जा रहा है।
शत्रु कीटों के अंडे, बच्चों को मित्र कीट खाते हैं। इससे शत्रु कीट पैदा ही नही हो पाते हैं। मित्र कीटों के संरक्षण के लिए किसानों को ध्यान देना चाहिए।
