केसर ए हिन्द का अर्थ
काइज़र (Kaiser) जर्मन भाषा में सम्राट के लिये शब्द है रूसी भाषा व अन्य स्लावी भाषाओं के त्सार शब्द की तरह यह भी लातिन भाषा के सीज़र शब्द से लिया गया है। ब्रिटिश राज के दौरान भारत पर राज करने वाले अंग्रेज़ शासक भी स्वयं को केसर-ए-हिन्द की उपाधि देते थे, लेकिन ध्यान दें कि जर्मन का काइज़र उच्चारण हिन्दी के कैसर उच्चारण से अलग है
