RRB Group D Salary-

According to notification of this Railway Group D 2026 Vacancy selected candidates receive in-hand salary ranges from ₹22,000 to ₹25,000 per month after allowances like Dearness Allowance (around ₹3,000-₹6,000), House Rent Allowance (8-24% by city), and Transport Allowance.

RRB Group D Selection Process-

In the Selection Process for Railway Recruitment 10th Pass will be completed on the following phases:

1. Computer Exam-

In this exam you can find with 100 MCQs (90 minutes; 120 for PwD) on Mathematics (25Q), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30Q), General Science (25Q), and General Awareness & Current Affairs (20Q). Each question carries 1 mark and 1/3rd negative marking applies.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)-

For Males-

• Lift/shoulder 35kg (10 times in 42 sec).

• Run 1000m in 4 min 15 sec.

For Female-

• Lift 20kg (10 times in 50 sec).

• Run 1000m in 5 min 40 sec.

3. DV-

Shortlisted candidates verify original documents like 10th certificate, ID proof, caste certificate, NOC (if employed), with photocopies. Course Completed Act Apprentices get marks weightage from NCVT exam in merit.

4. Medical Examination-

In this test checking your fitness under A-3/C-1/C-2 standards (vision, color blindness test, physical parameters). Empanelled railway hospitals conduct it.

5. Final Selection-

Posting is allotted by merit rank, zone/post preference, and vacancies. Please note there are no separate marks for PET/DV/medical. Computer exam score decides the rank.
