Selection Process Details-
In the Selection Process for MAHATRANSCO Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be completed on the following phases:
1. Merit List Preparation-
In this section merit list preparation starts with calculating scores at 50% weightage for SSC marks and 50% for ITI Electrician marks, done category-wise per Maharashtra"s social reservation policy.
2. DV-
Shortlisted candidates from the merit list receive calls for document verification, where originals of SSC marksheet, ITI certificate/marksheet (NCVT-recognized), caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar, and domicile proof get checked.
3. Medical Fitness-
During verification, discrepancies in name across documents (like SSC, ITI, and Aadhaar) lead to disqualification. Selected candidates then undergo a medical fitness examination as per company standards.
4. Selection-
Final selection confirms verified documents and medical fitness, after which candidates receive apprenticeship engagement orders for the one-year program in EHV O&M Division, Bhandara. Management reserves rights to adjust posts or process without notice.
