Senior Residents (SR): Primarily for medical departments like Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Radiology.
Senior Demonstrators (SD): For both medical and non-medical fields such as Biochemistry and Physiology.
Eligibility Post Wise-
Medical candidates: Need a postgraduate degree such as MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Non-medical candidates: Require M.Sc./M.Biotech in the subject plus Ph.D. from a recognized institute.

In the Selection Process for AIIMS Mangalagiri Senior Resident Recruitment will be completed on the following phases:
1. Screening of Applications-
A screening committee verifies documents and eligibility from submitted forms. Shortlisting occurs if applications exceed vacancies per department.
2. Written Test-
For departments with high applicants, a subject-specific MCQ written exam precedes the interview.
3. Walk-in Interview-
Shortlisted candidates attend physical interviews at Admin/Library Building, AIIMS Mangalagiri, on January 6-8, 2026 (department-wise schedule in notification). So candidates need to bring originals, checklist (Annexure-II), and hard copy of form.
4. Final Selection-
Merit list prepared based on interview performance (and written test if held), followed by document verification and offer letter issuance under Central Residency Scheme.
