WBSEDCL New Vacancy 2025 Selection Process-
In the Selection Process for WBSEDCL Job Vacancy 2025 will be completed on the following phases:
1. Computer-Based Test-
This is a 90-minute online objective exam with multiple-choice questions worth 85 marks, covering technical subjects (e.g., Electrical Engineering for JE), general awareness, and aptitude. Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio category-wise based on CBT performance for the next round.
2. Personal Interview-
Shortlisted candidates attend a viva-voce interview in Kolkata, carrying 15 marks, evaluating communication, technical knowledge, and job suitability. It must be attended in person at the designated center.
3. DV & Medical Exam-
Document Verification checks originals like certificates and domicile, followed by a mandatory Medical Examination per WBSEDCL standards.
4. Merit List-
The merit list combines CBT (85 marks) and interview (15 marks); selected candidates sign a service bond and get posted in West Bengal.
