Including various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), and other benefits like medical facilities and pension, the gross monthly salary ranges approximately from ₹60,000 to ₹75,000.

In the BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) exam pattern for 2025 consists of three objective papers, each carrying 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours, making a total of 300 questions and 6 hours overall exam time.
Negative marking of 1/3rd mark is applied for every wrong answer. And the merit list for final selection is prepared based on marks scored in General Studies and General Aptitude papers only.
